Right out of Manali, the mountainous road circled across the vast terrain of sloping valleys, snow covered peaks majestically staring towards a grey bluish sky draped with scattered cumulous clouds.
The Dhauldar and Pir Punjal Himalayan range looked forbidding but extremely colorful. We break-off the road to deck our cars and fill our famished souls.
