From the moment our Mahindra THAR screeched to a halt at the cozy homestay, the crisp mountain air, the sweeping views of the valley and peaks, and the warmth of local culture made it an experience to remember.
Astonishing Mountain Views 🏞️
The view from the balcony froze us. The outer Himalayan folds, with hills of deodar, oak, and birch rising up, and views of snow-peaks in the backdrop, were outstandingThe rolling hills with bird calls provided a slow travel. Adjoining apple orchards, rustic guest houses, a bird park with Himalayan Monal birds, and meadow trails looked so beautifulA long driveway amidst flowering plants connected the homestay to the road ahead. Our THAR dazzled like a gem in the cold morning air, waited patiently to climb the Himalayas
Our Lovely Homestay🏘️
Pinewood was used abundantly to build the superstructure of the homestay. Artistically decorated steps and ceilings led us to a food space with a panoramic window that painted the morning hillsThe homestay’s food court was decorated with a hint of a quaint setting. The slanted roof had a couple of windows that let in the chirpy air. Oriental styled short stools and tables decked the walls; however, we chose the tables and chairs with the normal height Our travel gang gathered to dig into a hearty home-style dinner studded with chicken, rice, and chapatis. We gathered energy from every morsel for the drive ahead
Homestay Outside🌄
This homestay is in the outer Himalayan zone, with deodar and oak forests on its slopes, which we could see cascading down to the valley of the Sutlej belowA huge array of mountain and winter flowers was present all around, of which a red Dahlia pinnata flower stood bold and glowingThe homestay was nicely built, and an all-around balcony encircled the entire building. A Slanted roof with appropriate colors looked dazzling with the flowers around and a blue sky bordered by the distant mountainsAfter a full breakfast, we were set to take on the rugged mountains. Our THAR was ready to take the landscape
